CURRICULUM

The curriculum of Excel in Analytics will help the students learn about one of the most sought-after analytic tools available in the market. Gain knowledge on how to import, clean, analyse, export, and visualise your data.

Module 1 - Basics

Introduction

This module will be aligned with the introduction of the topics, such as why to use Excel and what are its basic features and functions. Learn about editing and formatting data and gain knowledge on how to work with worksheets.

Formatting

We will be discussing two types of formatting. The first is custom formatting and conditional formatting.

Functions and Formulas

This topic will cover the concepts of logical functions, lookup and reference functions, and statistical functions.

Module 2 - Advanced

Pivot Tables

This module will mark its beginning by answering what pivot tables are. Following this, the module will expand in the direction of analysing data with the utilisation of the Pivot Table, i.e., grouping, filters, slicers, custom calculating, and calculated fields.

Dashboarding

The Dashboarding topic will deal with equipping students with the knowledge of creating charts in Excel and designing column charts. In addition to this, the module will talk about chart formatting and interactive dashboards.

Module 3 - Data Analytics With Excel

Analytical Tools within Excel

Gain information about the What If Analysis, such as goal seek, scenario manager, data tables, and solver.

Statistical Analysis

This module will deal with the learning of moving averages, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, covariance, correlations, and regression.
